Hamann Tunes the New 7 Series
German BMW tuner Hamann GmbH has turned its attention to the new F01-platform 7 Series. The program consists of aerodynamic enhancements, chassis lowering, stainless exhaust systems, new 22-inch wheels and interior pieces. The company is also working on power upgrades for the diesel-powered 730d.
Bodywork upgrades include a new front skirt with LED daytime running lights, roof and rear deck spoilers, side skirts and rear valance panels that allow the fitment of quad exhausts on 740i and 730d models. Hamann offers its own set of four exhaust outlets in stainless steel, each measuring 90mm in diameter.
Wheels for the new 7er are the Design HM Evo, measuring 22x9 inches in front and 22x10.5 inches in back. These new deep-dish, lightweight wheels wear 265/30ZR22 and 295/25ZR22 tires, respectively. A lowering kit consists of either two (750i/750Li) or four (730d/740i) progressive-rate sport springs to bring the chassis down 40mm over the wheels.
Interior enhancements include classic Hamann aluminum pedals and footrests, as well as custom carpeted mats. If you really want to spend some money, the firm will also retrim your interior in custom hides
