MINI Bumper Sticker Pokes Fun at Cash for Clunkers

Yes, the federal CARS (Cash-for-Clunkers) program has already burned through its billion-dollar budget, just one week after taking effect. It's too bad for MINI dealers — they were clearly planning to move some metal under the program — who had just received a supply of special bumper stickers to mark the occasion.

The bumper stickers, in the now typical MINI white-on-black scheme, state simply, "My other car was demolished by the government." There is now talk that because of the rampant popularity of the CARS program, the government may look to find additional funding to extend it. So perhaps all those MIINI bumper stickers won't go to waste just yet.
