BMW Reports April 2010 Sales
BMW continues to improve on last year's sales, as its April sales report shows. The BMW brand (including cars and SAVs) was up ten percent over April of 2009, while MINI grew a little over five percent in the same period. Year-to-date sales show a similar trend, with an 8.8% rise for the BMW brand and 3.1% uptick for MINI.
These numbers are especially good, considering the popular 5 Series sedan is in transition, with virtually no inventory of the outgoing model available for the last couple months, and the new model still a month away. The X3 is similarly unavailable, as an all-new model awaits its introduction later this year.
