BimmerFest East 2004

The series of BimmerFest shows throughout the summer season have become a staple for BMW owners, and BimmmerFest continues to grow as part of that grouping. Held this year at BeaveRun Raceway in Western, Pennsylvania, this year’s event feautured two-days for BMW owners.

Friday began the event, with track time on the BeaveRun course. Whether you brought your daily driver or a dedicated track car, owners were able to hit the track and see what their cars could do at speed.

The Saturday concours brought out even more cars, this time on display in a parking area just inside the entrance to the track. Mostly newer cars, the oldest models we found on hand were E30 3ers and E28 5ers, with a heavy emphasis on E36 and E46 models that ranged from pristine to wildly modified.

Though track events aren’t hard to come buy for BMW owners, dedicated BMW events including shows are harder to come by. It’s great to see Bimmerfest East flourishing and we look forward to next year’s event.
